Warren Buffett gives away his fortune Credit By donors

In June 2006, Fortune reports that Warren Buffett gives away his fortune Mr. Warren Buffett would begin to give away his Berkshire Hathaway fortune, then and now worth well over $40 billion. Mr. Buffett has said his wealth would go to philanthropy at his death. Mr. Buffett has pledged to gradually give 85% of his Berkshire stock to five foundations.



A report Living donors top US charity list had show that US philanthropists are increasingly giving during their lifetimes rather than after their deaths. 50 most generous Americans committing $7.3billion to charity in 2007, that figure is up from 2006, which was $6.6billion.
